Refund & Return Policy

At Chau Foods, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, please review our refund and return policy below.

1. Returns & Eligibility

  • Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery.
  • The product must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.
  • Perishable food items that have been opened or consumed are not eligible for return.
  • Products damaged during shipping are eligible for a full replacement or refund.
  • To initiate a return, please contact us with your order number and reason for return.

2. Refund Process

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will notify you about the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method.
  • Refunds are processed via the same payment method used during purchase (UPI, card, net banking, etc.).
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

3. Damaged or Defective Products

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damaged product and packaging.
  • We will arrange a free replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.
  • Please do not discard the damaged product until the issue is resolved.

4. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for products that are damaged or defective. If you would like to exchange a product for a different item, please return the original product and place a new order. We do not currently offer direct exchanges for different products.

5. Order Cancellation

  • Orders can be cancelled before they are dispatched. Contact us as soon as possible to cancel.
  • Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. You may return it after delivery as per our return policy.
  • Cancelled orders will receive a full refund within 3-5 business days.

6. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Products that have been opened, used, or consumed
  • Products returned after the 7-day return window
  • Products damaged due to misuse or improper storage by the customer
  • Gift cards or promotional items
